Bad Romance: Women’s Suffrage Parody

Pretty entertaining. :)

This is beyond awesome.

this is SO EFFING BRILLIANT.

HOWEVER, just so that it’s pointed out:

this video does only seem to represent *one* group of women… as in white women who could stay home during the day, (though it is NEVER okay to say that ANY female’s place is in the home), but that’s kind of how it played out historically I guess. Doesn’t help to do the same thing now though. But, again AWESOME stuff happening. :)

This is depicting the National Woman’s Party which was a group of white middle/upper class women. Whoever created this has clearly seen Iron Jawed Angels.

History + Gaga = Win.

I love this. Nerdy singer/songwriter Amy Lee Radigan has written a song about the plight of a lovelorn “nerdy girl.”

Mary Manin Morrissey’s Quote of the Day

Reverend Joyce Fisher Pierce, shared a great line with me and I want to offer it to you.

She said, “you are as old as God and as young as this instant”.

We belong to God and our soul is ancient in God’s mind; in God’s heart. But this instant can be brand new for us when we choose to bring ourselves fully alive to this instant. We can be, no matter what our chronological age we are as young as this instant.

Remember today that you are as old as God and as young as this instant.

Go on now. Make it a great day!
